Six Continents Down. Antarctica Next.
Travel has taken me across six continents, through unforgettable places, cultures, food, adventures, and more than a few hot flashes along the way.
Antarctica is the final continent on my list โ one more big adventure, one very cold destination, and apparently the perfect place for someone whose body keeps supplying its own heat.

One Woman. One Passport. Three Suitcases. ๐งณ๐งณ๐งณ
In September 2026, I headed to the Philippines โ solo, with three suitcases and enough plans to keep Ted the Money Boss questioning my sanity. ๐
Three suitcases. One woman. Absolutely no intention of traveling light. ๐ Ted โ my partner and official Money Boss ๐ฐ โ had plenty of questions about the logistics. Naturally, I considered all of them optional.
But those suitcases carried more than vacation clothes. โค๏ธ
My Philippines adventure was about more than sightseeing and three overstuffed suitcases. โค๏ธ Giving back, spending time with people who matter to me, and enjoying plenty of Filipino food were all part of the journey. And of course, I had a few adventures worth sharing along the way! ๐ต๐ญ
The million-dollar question: Did I come home with the same three suitcases, or did my luggage somehow multiply? ๐
Ted the Money Boss would probably prefer that we never discuss the final baggage count. ๐ฐ๐งณ

๐ง Antarctica with Silversea โ Flying the Drake โ๏ธโ๏ธ
My seventh continent! Instead of cruising the infamous Drake Passage, weโre flying over it and joining our Silversea expedition in Antarctica. Because apparently, penguins are worth going to the end of the earth for. ๐
๐ฐ Ted the Money Boss: โHow much does it cost to fly OVER the Drake?โ
Me: โFocus on the penguins, Ted.โ ๐ง๐
Multiple countries. Multiple climates. One enormous adventure. And one Money Boss who may need to temporarily surrender his calculator. ๐งฎ๐ณ๐
Ted: โAround the whole world?โ ๐ณ๐ฐ
Me: โLook at the bright side. Weโre only doing it once.โ ๐
