Welcome to my Delray Beach local guide. 🌴

I live here, so this isn’t one of those guides written by someone who spent 48 hours in town, ate on Atlantic Avenue twice, and suddenly became a Delray Beach expert. 😂

This is where I share the places I actually eat, where I take my girlfriends, my favorite happy hours, things to do, places worth taking visitors, local businesses I love, and yes—even where to park without losing your mind.

Delray Beach has changed tremendously over the years, but that’s part of what makes living here interesting. We have old-school local favorites sitting alongside beautiful new restaurants, beach bars, boutiques, hotels, live music, spas and enough nightlife to remind us that going to bed at 9 p.m. is optional.

I’ll also take you beyond the tourist side of Delray. We’ll talk about living here, local events, schools, community organizations, senior living, nonprofit events and the businesses that actually support our community.

Consider this my little black book of Delray Beach—minus the secrets I could get in trouble for sharing. 💅

Whether you’re visiting for a weekend, thinking about moving here, or you’ve lived here for years, welcome.

Let’s eat, drink, explore and enjoy Delray Beach like a local.

From cozy neighborhood restaurants to girls’ night, brunch, happy hour, and the places I take out-of-town friends, these are my Delray food and drink recommendations.

From the beach and Atlantic Avenue to Silverball, PopStroke and those little local spots visitors don’t always discover, I’ll show you what I actually think is worth doing in Delray.

Whether you want to wake up near the beach, stay steps from Atlantic Avenue, or treat yourself to a little Delray luxury, these are the hotels I’d look at first. 🌴🏨

Delray doesn’t exactly roll up the sidewalks after dinner. 😂 From live music and karaoke to dancing and places where my girlfriends and I somehow end up later than planned, here’s where to go when you’re not ready for bed.

Sometimes the itinerary needs less sightseeing and more shopping, nails, massage, and a little self-maintenance. These are some of my favorite places to shop, relax, and treat yourself around Delray.

Visiting Delray and living in Delray are two very different things. I’ll share useful local information about neighborhoods, schools, everyday life and resources for people thinking about making Delray home.

From nonprofit events and celebrations to venues for private parties and group gatherings, I’ll share local venues and events worth knowing about—including businesses that support the Delray community.

Delray Beach isn’t only for twenty-somethings bar-hopping down Atlantic Avenue. I’ll share some of my favorite ways to enjoy Delray after 50—from girlfriends’ weekends and great restaurants to wellness, activities and places where we can actually hear each other talk. 😂

Delray Beach is always giving me something new to explore—another restaurant, a hidden little shop, a fabulous hotel, or an excuse to grab the girls and head out. 😂 I’ll keep adding my favorite finds, honest reviews, and local tips here, so bookmark this page and come back when you’re ready for your next Delray adventure. 🌴✨
