🌴 Why Delray Beach Is Perfect for a Girls’ Weekend

Delray Beach makes girls’ weekends easy because you can mix beach time, great food, shopping, cocktails, live music, and a little pampering without spending your whole trip driving all over South Florida. Stay near Atlantic Avenue, and a lot of the fun is right there when you want it. And when the group changes its mind three times before dinner? Welcome to the girls’ weekend. πŸ˜‚πŸ·πŸŒ΄

🏨 Where to Stay for a Girls’ Weekend in Delray Beach

For a girls’ weekend, I’d keep it simple and stay somewhere that makes dinner, drinks, shopping, and beach time easy. The Ray is great for downtown energy, The Seagate works well if you want something polished, and Opal Grand is my pick when the group wants a more beach-and-resort feel.

🍽️ Where to Eat With the Girls

Food is a major part of any girls’ weekend β€” at least it is with my girlfriends. πŸ˜‚πŸ· For a fun dinner, I love Le Colonial for the atmosphere, Rose’s Daughter for Italian, and Dada when you want something a little different. If the group wants waterfront views, Deck 84 is always an easy choice. And yes, I absolutely recommend making reservations. Delray gets busy!

🍸 Where to Drink & Go Out

Delray has plenty of places to keep the night going. πŸΈπŸ’ƒ For cocktails and wine, The Wine Room and The Ray are great places to start. If we’re in the mood for live music and a livelier crowd, Johnnie Brown’s and Tin Roof are always on the list. And if somebody says, “Just one more drink,” we all know how that story ends. πŸ˜‚

πŸ’ƒ Where to Dance & Keep the Night Going

If the girls are ready to dance, Delray can definitely deliver. πŸ’ƒ Good Night John Boy is fun when you’re in the mood for throwback music, dancing, and a night that may suddenly convince you that you’re 25 again. πŸ˜‚ Bounce is another option when you want more of a late-night party atmosphere. My advice? Wear the cute shoesβ€”but make sure they’re shoes you can actually survive the night in. πŸ‘

πŸ–οΈ Beach Time Is Mandatory

You can’t do Delray Beach without actually spending some time at the beach. Grab coffee, take a morning walk, sit by the water, or make an afternoon of it with lunch nearby. If your hotel is close to the ocean, even better β€” less driving, less parking, more relaxing. πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ

🍷 Do Something Fun Together

If the group wants something organized, a Delray Beach food-and-drink tour can be a fun way to explore without everyone debating where to go next. πŸ˜‚ You get the food, the drinks, and somebody else handles the plan.

πŸ“… My Perfect Girls’ Weekend in Delray Beach

Friday: Check In, Cocktails & Dinner

Check into the hotel, unpack, and give everyone a minute to recover from pretending they packed light. πŸ˜‚ Then head out for cocktails before dinner. I’d start at The Ray or The Wine Room, followed by dinner somewhere fun like Le Colonial, Rose’s Daughter, or Dada. After dinner, see where the night takes you β€” this is a girls’ weekend, not a corporate retreat. πŸΈπŸ’ƒ

Saturday: Brunch, Beach, Shopping & Dancing

Start Saturday with brunch and coffee, then head to the beach before the Florida sun gets too ambitious. β˜€οΈπŸ˜‚ Spend the afternoon strolling Atlantic Avenue and Pineapple Grove, shopping, or sneaking in a little spa time. After everyone has rested and changed outfits at least twice, it’s time for dinner, cocktails, and dancing. πŸ’ƒπŸΈ

Sunday: Brunch, One Last Walk & Goodbye Delray

Keep Sunday easy. Grab brunch, take one last walk along the beach or Atlantic Avenue, and squeeze in anything the group missed. Then comes the hardest part: checking out, loading the car, and trying to figure out how everyone somehow has more bags than they had when they arrived. πŸ˜‚πŸ›οΈπŸŒ΄

πŸ’΅ What I’d Budget for a Girls’ Weekend

Delray can be as casual or as fabulous as you make it. πŸ’Έ The hotel will probably be your biggest expense, especially during busy weekends, but splitting a room with girlfriends helps. Add in dinners, cocktails, brunch, shopping, spa treatments, and activities, and my advice is simple: decide ahead of time where you want to splurge and where you don’t. Because three cocktails into Friday night is not the time to start discussing the budget. πŸ˜‚πŸΈ

πŸŽ’ What I’d Pack for a Delray Girls’ Weekend

Keep it cute, but keep it practical. 🌴 I’d pack a swimsuit, cover-up, comfortable sandals, a cute dinner outfit, something fun for dancing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a small crossbody bag. And bring comfortable walking shoes because Atlantic Avenue has a sneaky way of turning β€œlet’s just walk around for a little bit” into several thousand steps. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Ÿ

πŸ’• My Final Girls’ Weekend Tip

Don’t try to schedule every minute. Pick a few things everyone really wants to do, make your important dinner reservations, and leave room for the weekend to happen. Some of the best girls’ weekend moments are the ones you never planned β€” usually involving a cocktail, a questionable decision about staying out β€œjust one more hour,” and a story that absolutely does not need to leave Delray. πŸ˜‚πŸΈπŸ’ƒπŸŒ΄
